First I must download my photos. I'm not very good at remembering details, so it most likely will be a briefing on what we did. We'll see what happens. ;D

Who: Nova, 10yr old DD. Loves Minne Mouse with all her heart. Me, Traci, 42yr old Mom. My favorite has always been the big cheese himself, Mickey Mouse. Where: Pop Century Resort (1st time) When: Wed 10/19/11 to Sun 10/23/11 ------------------------------ Wednesday 10/19 First Mother & Daughter trip! We woke at 5am. Gulped down a quick breakfast of cereal, hair in ponytails and off to Las Vegas MCCarren airport by 4am. Flight left at 6am, one short layover in St Louis and we landed early in Orlando at 2:30pm instead of 2:50. I was suprised that I got confused, and went to the A side looking for the ME instead of the B side. Oops, it has been 2 years though. First stop was at Carribean Beach. That resort just looks way too big! Next was our stop at Pop. I was a little nervous about staying here. I thought it looked very corny, and knowing my usual luck we would be in the 60's section. Nope! We were put into the 80's! Great music, great view of the lake, room 7314. One room off from the corner. I propped the door open and the breeze coming in was just beautiful! Nova then demanded me to feed her, LOL. I ordered a large cheese pizza, tie dye cheesecake and a 2 liter of coke. Continued>>>

Great first day - I would have been tempted to hit a park for the night.

We didn't finish it though, very rich. I would want that room again for sure. But next trip I'm shooting for The Poly. Nova had a blast decorating!

See what I mean about my detailed memory?
I forgot we briefly visited DTD also that night! Nova rode the carousel, we walked thru World of Disney, then returned. Nothing special, that's probably why I forgot about it.

You don't need the parks to have fun on the first night. Taking time to just soak in the Disney air is good enough for me too.

Great start. Nova did a great job decorating the room. I have never stayed at POP. Never interested my family. The Caribbean looks over-whelming but it is my favorite resort. I've stayed there 3 times including a mother-daughter trip with my mom.

Thursday 10/20 First MNSSHP! A special wardrobe was planned for this trip. Each day was a color for Mickey Mouse. Yesterday, travel day was black t's. Today is yellow. We had planned to sleep in today, but woke about 7:30 starved! I showered, Nova thru her hair in a ponytail and off we went to Everything Pop for breakfast. It was good, standard breakfast food. Nova decided today we would golf at Winter-Summerland. We had a small wait for the Blizzard Beach/AK bus, maybe 10mins. We did the Winter course. I started to keep score, then that went out the window. We just relaxed and had fun, but no more than 5 strokes each as we had people behind us. It was around 11 something when we finished and I knew we would be ready for lunch real soon. So off to the bus stop, it was pretty chilly out there with the wind and all. Hmm. Where were we headed?
