Great update and pics.
That was a fun dinner. I have ideas for next years to try and top it.
Nova is fantastic. I loved how she came over and just sat down on the boat. Glad she felt comfortable with all the adults.

Aww. Thanks Scott.
I was like her as a kid. I loved being around grown-ups.

It was so great meeting you and Nova! I was so glad she started feeling better by the time we were done with dinner. I love the food at Boma but there were some weird things I didn't remember, like the rice, but its a good thing there are a million other restaurants to try in WDW!!! I will never get over Scott's generosity in getting the cruise for us, it was the best topper to a great night!

That really was a fun night. I actually liked most of the food I tried but agree with the Zebra Domes. Don't see the attraction.
Nova is a real cutie. My oldest granddaughter is more comfortable with adults too as was I.
The boat ride was fantastic. An experience of a lifetime.

I might give Boma one more chance, just to be sure. It was great meeting you too. Chris is a sweetie! You seem to have found yourself a great guy. I believe Scott secretly works for Disney. He made us some magic. LOL.

Saturday 10/22 - Epcot First time for food and wine festival Red shirt day Getting outta bed was a challenge this morning! Our trip was finally catching up to us. I jumped in the shower and kept nagging Nova to get ready for hers. Then I got the look, the "I don't care if you are the boss of me, leave me alone!" look. I didn't push the issue with Miss Grumpy. lol. She ended up getting in the shower on her own. Our moods improved greatly as we made our way to Everything Pop for breakfast. I had a bagel loaded with cream cheese. Nova had a cinnamon roll. The weather was awesome! This was the first morning we didn't wear our jackets. The bus to Epcot was pretty crowded and I knew what we were in for. With Food & Wine going on the crowd levels were to be expected and I warned Nova about this. Sure enough the enterance was packed pretty good. Nova's ankle was much better and so on this last day, we did not get a wheelchair. My palms were killing me from pushing the chair the past couple of days so I was thrilled. Everyone was going past Spaceship Earth, so that's were we went. Nova's eyes were closed. LOL!!!!!! I wasn't feeling 100% and sent Nova on Test track by herself twice while I took some photos and grabbed some much needed coffee. Mmmm... Coffee..... Nova then did Mission Space, this was a first for her. I wouldn't let her do the orange side. I still was not feeling great so I waited for her while she rode twice. I always wanted to see Universe of Energy and we walked over there after M:S. When I found out the show was 37 mins. we left. I didn't feel the need to waste the time on this attraction. Nova didn't want to see it at all. She wanted to head over to Innoventions for her Kim Possible mission. We always wanted to try this and figured since it was crowed today, we'd give it a shot. We still had some time before World Showcase was to open so we wandered with no aim in mind.

We came upon one of my favorites The Jammitors. I think Nova let me watch for about 5 seconds before she was bored. That's my girl, all action. Here's a peek at our wanderings: youtu.be/jueHEfbdN94youtu.be/fe4R1Mpgbl0We went by Club Cool and I was going to have her try the Beverly, hee hee. But it wasn't open yet. Then Nova wanted to ride something. Off to The Land, The line was too long and I needed a restroom now. We went to the one behind Journey into imagination, and a big tickle fight broke out. I won of course because I'm a big bully. ;D Time to ride By the time we got off the ride and played around in the pavillion, it was just a bit after 11am. We went to the festival welcome center and bought a food and wine charge card (Lorrie tuned me on to that) and I loaded it with $30. Nova got a Japanese Food and Wine Minnie Mouse pin. Coming up: On to World Showcase! Bring on the food.

Saturday 10/22/11, Part 2 - Epcot So after getting our food & wine charge card (above), it was time to pull out my pre-made list of food we must try. Austriala was first up. I had my mind set on the grilled lamb chops way before we left Vegas! Nova, hated them. And she is a big time lamb lover. I loved the lamb chops but the goat cheese potato salad that I couldn't wait to try was yucky. Moving along..... We got the beef empanada. It had a little kick to it, and Nova loved the pastry around it. I found it to be 2 thumbs up! We took our empanada in route with us as we made our way to Mexico where we boarded the Gran Fiesta Tour. Our tour guide was a real quack (Donald Duck). LOL. With our tour of Mexico City behind us it was time to go pick up Nova's Kimmunicator in Norway, and get our first mission. I knew we were in trouble when I saw how LONG the intro to this thing was. Having been to WDW twice before, we never explored Norway in depth. Now was the perfect time to do that. Started off with 2 trips on Maelstrom. I've read so many reports about how lame this attraction is. We LOVE it! This was followed by wandering around in the shops, taking the iconic Troll photo, and finally having a Cloudberry horn after reading so much about them. Super yum!

We walked along the looking for the cheese kiosk. By the time we found it there was about 75 people in line! It really was a shame, there was no way we were going to wait. Nova had wanted to try the fondue. By the way, the Kimmunicator kept ringing that tune wanting us to finish our China mission!!!!!! Annoying!!!! It was getting crowded so we ducked into the new Karamel Kuche shop for some quick treats. See the Crowds. Carmel Treat I had the chocolate carmel brownie. Heaven I tell you, just Heaven. I see another Kim Possable headquarters and stop by to see if this beeping kimmunicator can be changed to another country. The girl reset it for us to Japan, our next stop. As soon as we left Germany, it happened. The thing that brings a great vacation to its knees.... I got hit with some gastrointestinal thing. My God, horrible cramps. I wasn't sure where the nearest restroom was, I only knew of the one in Morocco. So we moved quickly thru the very crowded World Showcase (add in the Kimmunicator music here)! 20 mins later and still feeling awful, and I do mean awful. We went to Japan to start Nova's new mission. Coming up... Do I slam the kimmunicator into the wall?
