I love Flights of Wonder! I remember when we first went to see it I thought it would be boring but it turned out to be pretty amusing and interesting! That show was my goal for the day. It did not disappoint!

I never thought of taking video on EE, something to think about. The video is great and something I can show my granddaughter to prepare her. My youngest daughter is like Nova. We went to Busch Gardens when she was 2 and she threw a fit because she was too small for roller coasters. I missed out on Splash Mountain when it opened because she was to short. She finally hit heights when she was 5 for most coasters and she hasn't stopped since then. Nova was scared she was going to drop the camera. LOL. I believe you have to be born loving coasters. I never really liked them.

Friday 10/21 - part 2 After exiting Dinosaur, we were just walking out of the attraction and my phone goes off. It was Krystal and Lorrie! They had just rode the Safari and wanted to meet at Flame Tree BBQ. Nova and I made a five min. walked over and waited. It was a brief but exciting meeting for me. My first Ip-Dipper meeting! That really got me pumped up for the dinner later that day. They suggested we join them for lunch, but we weren't ready yet. Nova needed to ride Primeval Whril, without me of course. We had a 40 min wait, and I had fun pushing her up a ramp in the queue . We headed back over to Flame Tree BBQ for lunch, parked the wheelchair in the stroller section and set off to find a table by the water. After scoring a fairly decent view of Everest I left Nova there and set off to get us a rib platter to split. All I gotta say was YUM, the ribs were so tender!!! We gobbled it down like hungry wolves! I didn't want us to eat too much, saving for Boma later. After picking the bones clean, we were on our way. Nova didn't want to see Tough to be a Bug, but that was another one I hadn't see since 1998. So in we went. It was alright, not as fun as I remembered it. Nova enjoyed it. Making our way over to Camp Minnie-Mickey, it was crowded! I was really trying not to clip anyone with the chair. By the time we got to Festival of the Lion King, Nova noticed we had a half-hour wait till the next show.

What to do? We got some ice cream bars and relaxed for a bit. There was this fun group that sat next to us on the bench. The one guy was looking at all the hats for sale at one of the carts. All his friends were giving him the business about trying on the princess hats. I streched the truth a bit, and yelled out Nova wanted to see him in the princess hat (She hit me in the arm). So he put it on and his friends got some great pics! ;D What a sport!!! It was time Always a great show, and I always tear up at the end. We sat in the Lion Section and Nova got to roar into the mic. After the show, Nova wanted one more ride on Everest. So we needed to go all the way over to the other side of the park! The crowds were crazy!! Then I realized they were lining up for the parade. I waited about 20mins for her to get off, not too bad. Time for last minute souvenir shopping. I had a hard time finding a key chain for my Mom that just said Animal Kingdom on it. But after just 4 shops, , I found one. Over to the buses and over to Animal Kingdom Lodge. It was time for our long awaited gathering. Some shots of AKL before dinner. Such a beautiful place!!!!! ------------------------------------------ Next up... Day 3 - part 3 Ip-Dip Dinner!!!! I might hold off until Scott tells all the details on his TR. Most of the photos were not taken by me because of my stinky camera.

Kristel and I had fun meeting up with you and Nova. We should have put off lunch and joined you. She wanted to do Primeval Whirl, me not so much. I get motion sickness and my back would have been screaming. Kristel bypassed the ride because of me and the wait. You had the same view we did. It is so nice back there and a beautiful view.

I'd like to try the pork. Mickey bar is just vanilla ice cream with a thick chocolate coating. Think one step down from a Dove bar.

Friday 10/21, Day 3 - Part 3 After exploring the grounds, we made our way down to Boma. But first,I had remebered Buzz and Linnie saying they were going to be at the bar just upstairs from Boma. So we "buzzed" by the bar (pun intended) to see. I was having serious trouble with the camera & the lighting. No setting worked. After trying to snap a few more shots, that did not come out at all (just a yellow blur). The camera froze up on me. I'm thinking please not now, before dinner. So I re-inserted the batteries and that seemed to un-freeze it. We get to the bar and no Buzz or Linnie. So we headed down the rest of the staircase to Boma. We grabbed a bench in the waiting area, and I think that's about the time Nova started feeling a bit sick. She never said a word to me about it. My tough little one, just rolled with the punches. Meeting everyone was great! I was so excited! Then the bad news came. Buzz and Linnie would not be joining us. Their babysitter's father suffered a stroke, and the replacement sitter never called them back. Scott checked us in and we put Nova down as a kid. I only did this because the buffet was $40 for 10 and up, and I knew Nova would eat like a bird. After I sat down with my plate. Nova then told me how sick her stomach was, she put her head in my lap and fell asleep right at the table. I thought about grabbing a cab back to Pop at that point. Then realized maybe I should just let her sleep it out and see what happens. After all, we did come 2500 miles for this dinner. LOL. The waiter was so nice, and kept offering to bring me apple juice or soda for my sleeping beauty. Boma's food did not impress. I found everything too sweet. The worst was the rice with raisins & cinnamon. The desert everyone raves about, Zebra Domes. Nothing to them at all. Light and fluffy, no flavor. Then it happend. Nova woke up and felt great!!! So glad we didn't go back to Pop. She still wasn't hungry, but offered to take some photos with the camera from hell. She had a bit better luck than me. Me and one of my favorite table mates, Vinny! Vinny had some great stories of him growing up. Told me about his Dad. Then we made fun of the girl at the next table. ;D I just love him! Chris & Kathy, Lorrie, Krystal A bad one of Scott, I think I tried about 5 times to get a good one of him. ;D After we settled up the bill. We said our goodbyes to Vinny, he had some laundry to do as him and Scott were leaving the next day. I wished he would have come. We all made our way over to The Poly for the wishes cruise Scott was treating us to. Some went by car. Some of us went by bus to MK then monorail to The Poly.

It was a crowed monorail ride but a fun one. Finally, we made it there. Yay! A good one of Scott! Hi cutie! Scott, Lorrie, Krystal, Nova and myself made over to the gift shop for water bottles. African food makes ya thirsty. I then realized Nova should hit the restroom before we get out on the water. Scott then dubbed her "Miss pee-pee pants" LOL! I love this name and still use it. All it takes is one good name and Nova is yours forever. She loves Scott. Miss pee-pee pants We met up with Kathy & Chris, and 2 of Kathy's friends who's names escape me now (sorry). Off to the boat dock we were! This was one of the best evenings ever! Scott your too kind, Nova and I had a great time. Thank you. Nova didn't even want to sit with me. Oh, and she HATED the bright yellow life jacket. More to tease her about. Me, nice and washed out. The Grand Floridian The Pontoon boat was fully loaded with snacks and sodas. And we took a wonderful trip all the way around the lake, even over to where Fort Wilderness is, Bay Lake. Everyone was afraid to open their mouths due to all the nats swarming around. We had a lot of laughs with that. Sailing back over to Seven Seas Lagoon we caught another first for Nova and me, The Electric Water Pagent. It was a great precursor for Hallowishes. We had only seen it on a kids video that Nova had years ago when she was about 3. Can't tell you how she enjoyed it because she was sitting between her new parents, Scott and Krystal. LOL. Nova was super relaxed now and even at one point called me by her favorite pet name for me, Marble Head. Its because my head is so small. I was suprised at how close all these boats sail next to each other. No danger at all. It just felt like one big party out there on the water. We even yelled a happy birthday to one group. On with the show. The video dosen't do it justice. I was so wowed! Krystal on the phone with Jodi as we approach the electric water pagent. youtu.be/WEi_NVKQj4AThe finale of Hallowishes. The whole sky lit up all around us! youtu.be/f0kqE2KrhuoA shout out to our great captain!!!! Very funny guy. With a full day under our belts we all said our sad goodbyes took a group picture in the lobby. Stolen from Scott. Nova was finally hungry. She hadn't eaten since Flame Tree BBQ! Scott had suggested we grab something in Captain Cooks, Nova shot that down. I suggested Kona Cafe as we passed by on the way to the monorail. Nova shot that down too. Off to the monorail. It really wasn't that long of a ride from Poly to MK, then bus to Pop. We stopped at Everything Pop for some things, including a Pop Century pin . I was hoping Nova would want to grab something there. Nope. She ended up eating dry Fruit Loops, she didn't want milk. Nova passed out. I clean up the room, and starting packing up a bit before going to bed. I fell asleep watching video of the fireworks on my camera. We had a full Epcot day ahead of us on Saturday. And we were going home on Sunday. Next up: The last fun day and, another first!!!!
