Day 1: Part II – Check in was very simple and Michelle told us exactly how to get to the room. We walked the way she said and found the elevator. We went to the 5th floor which is for DVC and then searched for our room. Room 5531 was our destination and we were there. The room was nice as next to it on the bottom floor was a sitting area to look at the animals so no one was on that side. Only neighbors on one side. Woohoo We walk in and I love what I am seeing. I had read the reviews on boards that people found the rooms dark and in some spots they were but overall I thought the lighting was adequate. I whipped out the camera right away. Nice little towel Mickey on the bed. Entryway Sink area and bathroom Sleeping and sitting area. Bed Dresser and tv. Armoire Armoire open Little sitting area. Also where the Ethernet for internet is located. Couch and table. kitchenette Utility closet Sink Shower That was the tour of the room. I really enjoyed staying here except for one thing, the bed. It was so uncomfortable. I was really surprised by this. It was way too soft. The pillows were also so uncomfortable. SSR everything was so comfy. It really was the only downside to the resort. I loved it and want to try Kidani Village one day. Think I will stop here. Up next, We step out on the balcony.

I'm so glad there are other people in the world who take pictures of their hotel rooms!

Glad you like AKL, I did find the rooms very dark but maybe they are darker over at Kidani where we stayed. I definitely would stay there again. How busy was Jambo overall?

Beautiful room! I hate soft beds too. Pop was actually nice and firm.

I always take pics of the room, even when I have stayed there numerous times. The room looked very nice.
I have no idea if the beds at ASMo are hard or soft. The minute I was in it I was sound asleep. ;D

I did not find the resort busy at all. Restaurant or pool. Vinny did not like the look of Kidani and said hs will stay there. Drama queen. LOL
