In June 2011 I took my family to Disney (again) and we had a wonderful time (as always). No big complaints, just lots of fun. We stayed somewhere new (DoubleTree Guest Suites) and reallly had a delightful time just enjoying our favorite things at Disney.
So this June, I am going back to Florida again. But this time - NO DISNEY! I know...weird right. I still can't believe it either.
Here is why...one day while sitting home alone (which never happens) I got a call from Hilton Grand Vacations. Normally I would l just hang up on these people, but for some odd reason I didn't. I let the chicky on the phone go on and on with her big fancy sales-pitch about their great resort in Hawaii. After she was finally done, I told her I had zero interest. She was shocked!
So she asked me what I do like to do for vacation. So I went on a long sales pitch on our love for Disney and how last time we went down we stayed at DoubleTree, which is one of their hotels, etc.....
Now that I had exposed my true weakness, she struck with a fatal blow. A vacation package offer in Florida that was SO hard to resist. I fell for it (sucker ) and now my family is returning to Florida this summer to experience what Hilton Grand Vacations has to offer.
We will be staying at the HGCV Club at Seaworld for 4 days/3 nights. The cost was only $167.63 and our only committment is a 2-hour sales pitch on the 3rd day of the trip.
So this fool is going to hear a vacation club sales pitch. There is no way in hell I will buy a vacation plan, but I guess they don't know that. Should be an interesting experience.
